My research interests include perinatal immunology and the inflammatory mechanisms which contribute to the onset of preterm labor. I have been a research assistant at the Perinatology Research Branch of the NIH for 4 years and have participated in multiple cutting-edge studies dedicated to investigating pathways and signals which are potential targets for the prevention of preterm labor and other adverse pregnancy and neonatal outcomes. As a member of the Perinatal Immunology Unit, I have developed a strong interest in the field of immunology and hope to continue working in this field.
