My research interests include the human cytomegalovirus (HMCV) tegument protein UL103 which is involved in envelopment and egress of the virus. My project focuses on the roles UL103 Alix-binding domains have in the growth and maturation of the virus. I also study the nature of the protein-protein interactions that UL103 has with a cellular anti-viral protein IFI16.
